WINNING THE WAR

Whether you fight or not, war has already been declared. How much you know about the battle will decide the way it goes. Paul and Peter demonstrated the power of God. So also must I. Do you hope to demonstrate the power of God and have the last laugh over your enemies? Declare it openly and loudly like this: “I shall have victory over the enemies.”

There is no gentle war. There is no noiseless war. It is not a play thing, neither is it a picnic at the beach. You cannot organise a peaceful rally against witches, carrying placard, singing: “All we are saying is stop drinking blood.”

They will not listen. In fact, it will strengthen them the more. What you need do is command them to be paralysed or be roasted; then it will work.

We have to tender a strong petition against powers that are working against God’s children today. Wars are not won by words but by force, strength, aggression, power and violence.

Why? The enemy has come to kill, steal and destroy. If you do not fight and win, he will accomplish all these things in your life. It is unfortunate that some people come to church after they have been messed up by the enemy.

THE OPPONENTS

1. Our war is not against persons who have bodies but with disembodied spirits.

• Our fight is against principalities and powers.

• Bodiless beings.

• Great evil princes.

• Large number of evil spirits.

• Rulers.

• Powers.

• Demonic leaders.

• Executives.

1. Chief heads who are demonic.

1. Mastermind controllers.

1. Strongmen.

1. Evil powers.

1. Evil intelligence.

1. Tricks.

1. Strategies.

1. Craftiness.

1. Skills.

1. Devices.

• Evil counsels.

The person who wants to fight these kinds of entities must be ready to know and do some things.

I know a brother who used to go about making trouble for Jesus. He used to go to places where magicians usually gathered people to deceive them. As these magicians were carrying out their exploits, the brother would be nullifying them in the name of Jesus. The magicians would fail and would look around to see if there was any witch or wizard counter-acting their efforts. They would not know that it was a small boy standing on the word of God.

BEATING THE AIR

When you are ignorant of satanic devices you give the enemy an advantage over you. It is to your advantage to know who the enemies are, how many they are, their power, their strategies, what they do and what area is under attack. These powers will not have mercy on you if they succeed in getting you cornered. They will use all their powers and make sure they win. This is their aim. Don’t fight as someone beating the air, especially now that you know that all the evil spirits are subject to you.

An MFM team went somewhere to preach and a man gave his life to Christ and brought out all the charms to be burned. One of the charms was raging and was ready to attack the ministers. The man had to pamper the spirit in it and the ministers got it burnt eventually.

We must launch out battle against the strongman and the wicked spirits who have rejected Christ and chosen satan. There are some people who are not

bound, neither are they possessed. Therefore, they feel that they do not need deliverance, but the spirit inside them is the spirit of wickedness.

STRONGMEN

There are human spirits that have become strongmen and must be dealt with by believers. There are high-ranking principalities working amongst believers and in the streets. They are the ones controlling and directing witches, diviners, magicians and sorcerers.

One day, a man went to consult a witch doctor and he sent him to the church, that he would find solution to his problem there.

And when they had gone through the isle unto Paphos, they found a certain sorcerer, a false prophet a Jew, whose name was Bar-jesus: Which was with the deputy of the country, Sergius Paulus, a prudent man; who called for Barnabas and Saul, and desired to hear the word of God. But Elymas the sorcerer (for so is his name by interpretation) withstood them, seeking to turn away the deputy from the faith. Then Saul, (who also is called Paul,) filled with the Holy Ghost, set his eyes on him, And said, O full of all subtilty and all mischief, thou child of the devil, thou enemy of all righteousness, wilt thou not cease to pervert the right ways of the Lord? And now, behold, the hand of the Lord is upon thee, and thou shalt be blind, not seeing the sun for a season. And immediately there fell on him a mist and a darkness; and he went about seeking some to lead him by the hand. Then the deputy, when he saw what was done, believed, being astonished at the doctrine of the Lord. Acts 13:6-12.

When Bar-jesus tried to use his demonic power against the apostles, Paul did not even witness to him nor sing praise worship. He did not pacify him, he quickly located the enemy and exercised against him, the power given to him by the Lord Jesus Christ. He tried the spirit in the man and found that it was evil. So, he treated him like a demon and the deputy was astonished.

We need that kind of power today.

4. Every warfare prepared against my peace, I command pandemonium upon you, in the name of Jesus.
5. Every warfare prepared against my peace, I command disaster upon you, in the name of Jesus.
6. Every warfare prepared against my peace, I command confusion upon you, in the name of Jesus.
7. Every warfare prepared against my peace, I command spiritual acid upon you, in the name of Jesus.
8. Every warfare prepared against my peace, I command destruction upon you, in the name of Jesus.
