God knows how to deal with the relentless foe. God knows how to handle boasting powers and wicked dark agents. It is interesting, however, that the methods which God will use will mesmerize the enemy. Often times, God’s weapon can be likened to David’s five smooth stones. Beloved, who would have thought that little pebbles could be used by God to bring down the lofty head of an enemy with amazing credentials like Goliath?

There are direct weapons and there are indirect weapons. While the enemy watches out for noticeable spiritual warfare weapons, little or no attention may be paid to indirect weapons. Yet, those indirect weapons may be as deadly as the obvious ones. The weapon of confusion is one of such subtle weapons.

A TOUGH WEAPON

When God wants to destroy the enemy, He uses the weapon of confusion. When the enemy receives the arrow of confusion, there will be loss of focus. This will enable you to jump out of the gate of bondage.

When Pharaoh received the arrow of confusion two things happened. Out of panic, he decided to let the children of Israel go. All of a sudden, the same arrow made him to change his mind. He decided to pursue Israel. Thus, when he got in to the middle of the Red sea, tragedy struck. Exodus14:23-28

“And the Egyptians pursued, and went in after them to the midst of the sea, even all Pharaoh’s horses, his chariots, and his horsemen, And it come to pass, that in the morning watch the LORD looked unto the host of the Egyptians through the pillar of fire and of the cloud, and troubled the host of the Egyptians, And took off their chariot wheels,

that they drave them heavily: so that the Egyptians Said, Let us flee from the face of Israel; for the LORD fighteth for them against the Egyptians. And the LORD Said unto Moses, Stretch out thine hand over the sea, that the waters may come again upon the Egyptians, upon their chariots, and upon their horsemen. And Moses stretched forth his hand over the sea, and these are turned to his strength when the morning appeared; and the Egyptians fled against it; and the LORD over threw the Egyptians in the midst of the sea. And the waters returned, and covered the chariots, and the horsemen, and all the host of Pharaoh that came into the sea after them; there remained not so much as one of them.”

TOTAL VICTORY

This weapon was also used when God wanted to subject the Philistines to resounding defeat. 1Sam. 7:10

“And as Samuel was offering up the burnt offering, the Philistines drew near to battle against Israel: but the LORD thundered with a great thunder on that day upon the Philistines, and discomfited them; and they were smitten before Israel.”

The Lord thundered and there was confusion in the camp of the philistines. God used the same weapon when He wanted to deal with the rebellion that took place during the building of the tower of Babel. Gen. 11:7-9

“Go to, let us go down, and there confound their language, that they may not understand one another’s speech. So the LORD scattered them abroad from thence upon the face of all the earth: and they left off to build the city. Therefore is the name of it called Babel; because the LORD did there confound the language of all the earth: and from thence did the LORD scatter them abroad upon the face of all the earth.”

You can use the weapon when you want to deal with the following problems.
