WEAPONS 48 – STUMBLING BLOCK
THIS WEAPON WILL MAKE YOU TOO HOT TO HANDLE.
IT WILL GIVE YOU POWER TO TROUBLE YOUR TROUBLE.
THIS WEAPON MUST BE USED WHEN YOU WANT TO ANNOUNCE THE OBITUARY OF THE POWERS OF YOUR FATHER’S HOUSE.
IT IS NEEDED WHEN YOU WANT TO KEEP THE ENEMY AWAY FROM YOUR FAMILY AND IMPORTANT PROJECTS.
IT IS A WEAPON YOU CAN USE WHEN YOU WANT TO EXPERIENCE ACCELERATED PROMOTION.
With the array of weapons that God has manufactured and kept ready for our use, no child of God has any business with defeat and bondage. Instances of defeat and bondage cannot be attributed to God. He has already given unto us all things that pertain to our victory and total wellbeing. No power can defeat God. No enemy can challenge him. No demonic entity can dribble the Almighty. The truth is that God has not created any power he cannot tame. The Almighty has a solution to every problem, ready victory for every battle, deliverance for every bondage and suitable weapons to counter any form of satanic invasion. The weapon we are considering in this section is the weapon of divine stumbling block.
AN UNCOMMON WEAPON
Enemies prevail when God’s children lack knowledge. Enemies prevail when believers are naive. Enemies overcome when Christians are lazy. Enemies record victory when children of God live in the dark as far as weapons of outstanding victory are concerned. You can score cheap victory against the enemy when you make use of this uncommon weapon.
Here, you may not confront the enemy with arms and ammunition. You simply lay stumbling blocks on the pathway of the enemy. We can learn a few lessons from physical warfare. When some battles are fought,. a particular army may decide to use land mines. These are buried in the ground. They are programmed to explode at will, and at that moment, multiple explosions are triggered off and an advancing opposing army will be left with no option than to either surrender or flee.
The spiritual stumbling block is comparable to a land mine. Isaiah 8:14
“And he shall be for a sanctuary; but for a stone of stumbling and for a rock of offence to both the houses of Israel, for a gin and for a snare to the inhabitants of Jerusalem.”
I want you to picture an enemy that charges at you, poised for battle. Such an enemy will keep running just to frighten you. But, when the Almighty places an unseen stumbling block, the enemy will stumble. To defeat the enemy you can command the stumbling block of the Almighty to be scattered upon the enemy. Each stone will earn the enemy resounding defeat. 1Peter 2:8
“And a stone of stumbling, and a rock of offence, even to them which stumble at the word, being disobedient: whereunto also they were appointed.”
A GREAT STONE
There is a mystery in the above verse. Beloved, the size of the enemy will determine the size of the stumbling block to be used. By the spirit of prophesy the Apostle Peter describes two types of stumbling blocks. One is a stone while the other is a rock. The stone causes the enemy to stumble while the rock puts the enemy to trouble. Of course, you know that any enemy that goes into a head-on collision with the rock of ages will have that head shattered into pieces that cannot be gathered together.
PRAYER POINTS
- Father, put stumbling blocks on the way of my oppressors, in the name of Jesus.
- Father, put a stumbling block to barricade the enemies from gaining access to the garden of my life, in the name of Jesus.
- Father, put a stumbling block in the way of those that despise my Zion, to be put to shame, in the name of Jesus.
- Thou weapon of stumbling block arise, fight my enemies and let them make mistakes that will advance my cause, in the name of Jesus.
- Thou power of stumbling block, hinder my oppressors from moving into my territory, in the name of Jesus.
