WEAPONS 28 – FEAR OF THE DAY

God is a strategist. He is a great fighter. There are dangerous weapons in the divine armoury. As long as the enemy continues to invent destructive weapons, God will continue to come up with deadlier weapons. No wonder the Bible says when the enemy comes like a flood the Spirit of the Lord shall raise up a standard against him. The weapon we are considering now is one of such raised standards.
Beloved when the enemy is busy rejoicing that he has just manufactured a wicked weapon, God will simply raise a higher standard and come up with a weapon that will make the enemy’s invented weapon look like a toy. God has a great sense of humour. He takes delight in laughing at the enemy. No wonder the Bible says He that sitteth in heaven shall laugh.
POWER TO DETHRONE EVIL KINGS
Beloved, there is no weapon that God cannot invent and make use of, just to make sure that the enemy is disgraced and destroyed. Here, we are looking at a very strange weapon. The fear of the day is a terrific weapon. When God has finished making the night an uncomfortable atmosphere for wicked powers to carry out their evil activities, heaven will switch the gear to the realm of the day. When the fear of the day overshadows the hearts of agents of darkness, they will be prevented from carrying out their activities. The fear of the day is a weapon of terror. When this weapon grips the heart of unfriendly friends, the powers of your father’s house and other wicked agents they will be rendered lame, blind deaf and dumb.
One of the strategies of God is to embark on cyclical warfare. When the enemies are routed, arrested and imprisoned in the night they will also be made to meet their waterloo during the day. They face terror in the night, and terror in the day, leaving them with no moment for their nefarious and wicked activities.
The Bible says that wicked powers that will not let you fulfil your destiny shall receive the arrow of the astonishment of heart. Deut.28:28
“The LORD shall smite thee with madness, and blindness, and astonishment of heart:”
POWER TO HARASS THE ENEMY
With astonishment of heart during the day and fear in the night the enemy will be thrown out of business. The fear of the day is a deadly weapon given to us by God to use to harass the enemy instead of being harassed by wicked powers. The fear of the day is a weapon you can use to paralyze the enemy and make it impossible for wicked powers to attack you during the day. If evil powers decide that you will not rest during the day and night, you can come up with a higher decree and decide to withdraw the arrests by programming fear into their lives. Deut.28:66
“And thy life shall hang in doubt before thee; and thou shalt fear day and night, and shalt have none assurance of thy life:”
HOW TO CAPTURE THE ENEMY
The principle here is to stop them before they stop you. This weapon will enable you to capture the enemy before you are captured. Rather than allow the devil to fill your heart with terror and fear in the day, you can make the enemy to be at the receiving end by making use of these back to sender weapons.
A lot of believers are suffering today because of the ignorance of the use of spiritual warfare weapons. As God’s children, we are not supposed to be
harassed by fear in the day and in the night, we are the ones to paralyze wicked forces and plant such fear that will make them to become barking dogs that cannot bite. This is our day of victory. This is the weapon that we need to torment all the tormentors and celebrate the victory that God has given us.
PRAYER POINTS
- Let all my stubborn enemies receive the arrow of the fear of the day, in the name of Jesus.
- Let all my enemies receive the arrow of the fear of the day, in the name of Jesus.
- Let the fear of the day come upon my stubborn pursuer, in the name of Jesus
- Let the fear of the day envelope my midnight enemies, in the name of Jesus.
- Let every divination, let every spell issued against me in the day be nullified by the fear of the day, in the name of Jesus.
- Holy Ghost arise in your power and overshadow my enemies with the fear of the day, in the name of Jesus.
- Blood of Jesus arise in your power over shadow my enemies with fear of the day, in the name of Jesus
- Father, let great fear of the day be upon every enemy of righteousness, in the name of Jesus.
- Oh Lord, arise, and let the fear of the day pursue my pursuers, in the name of Jesus.
