RECEIVING FRESH FIRE FROM ABOVE
Acts 2
For receiving fresh fire from the Holy Ghost.
To get on fire from above.
A wise believer doesn’t rely on the experience of yesterday’s victory to fight today’s battle, but rather he makes sure he receives fresh fire from above for each day’s task. For your Christian life and ministry, you need to receive fresh fire from above.
Acts 2:3: “And there appeared unto them cloven
tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each one of them.”
The church was born by fire on the day of Pentecost. Every Christian must receive the baptism of fire if he will do anything meaningful for the Lord. The fire of God in the life of a believer is the sign of divine approval that indeed he has been called, anointed and appointed by the Almighty God for the work of the ministry. It is impossible to do the work of God without fire. It is like trying to swim without water. When we have the fire of God, we will not be able to keep quiet, we will not be able to sit still. Jeremiah said, “Then I said, I will not make mention of Him, nor speak any more in His name. But His word was in mine heart as a burning fire shut up in my bones, and I was weary with forbearing, and I could not stay.”
“God’s word was like fire in His bones” (Jeremiah 20:9).it was such a powerful and compelling force that he could not hold it in. When you receive the fire of God, people will know. It is not something you can hide. The burning desire and the zeal for the kingdom of God will consume you. We need this fire daily. It is not something we need once. We need to be continually filled with the Holy Spirit and fire (Ephesians 5:18). The work of the Lord must be done by fire.
As you pray these prayer points, fresh fire will fall from heaven and fill every department of your life.

PRAISE WORSHIP
O Lord, cleanse all the soiled part of my life.
O Lord, refresh every dry area of my life.
O Lord, heal every wounded part of my life.
O Lord, bend every evil rigidity in my life.
O Lord, re-align every satanic straying in my life.
O Lord, let the fire of the Holy Spirit warm every satanic freeze in my life.
O Lord, give me a life that kills death.
O Lord, kindle in me the fire of charity.
O Lord, glue me together where I am opposed to myself.
O Lord, enrich me with Your gifts.
O Lord, quicken me and increase my desire for the
things of heaven.
By Your rulership, O Lord, let the lust of the flesh in my life die.
Lord Jesus, increase daily in my life.
Lord Jesus, maintain Your gifts in my life.
O Lord, refine and purge my life by Your fire.
Holy Spirit, inflame and fire my heart, in the name of Jesus.
Lord Jesus, lay Your hands upon me and quench every rebellion in me.
Holy Ghost fire, begin to burn away every self-centeredness in me, in the name of Jesus.
Father Lord, breathe Your life-giving breath into my soul, in the name of Jesus.
O Lord, make me ready to go wherever You send me.
Lord Jesus, never let me shut You out.
Lord Jesus, never let me try to limit You to my capacity.
Lord Jesus, work freely in me and through me.
O Lord, purify the channels of my life.
Let Your heat O Lord, consume my will, in the name of Jesus.
Let the flame of the Holy Spirit blaze upon the altar of my heart, in the name of Jesus.
Lord Jesus, come like blood into my veins.
O Lord, order my spirit and fashion my life in Your will.
O Lord, let Your fire burn all that is not holy in my life.
O Lord, let Your fire generate power in my life.
Lord Jesus, impart to me thoughts higher than my own thoughts.
Holy Spirit, come as dew and refresh me, in the name of Jesus.
Holy Spirit, guide me in the way of liberty, in the name of Jesus.
Holy Spirit, blow upon me such that sin would no more find place in me, in the name of Jesus.
Holy Spirit, where my love is cold, warm me up, in Jesus’ name.
Thank God for His mighty presence in your life.
Let my hand become the sword of fire to cut down evil trees, in the name of Jesus.
Let my feet become the thunder of God, as I stamp them. Let them deafen the enemy, in the name of Jesus.
Let the spiritual rag of poverty in my life be destroyed by the fire of God, in the name of Jesus.
Every enemy of excellence in my life, be paralysed, in Jesus’ name.
Let every past satanic achievements in my life be converted to my promotion, in the name of Jesus.
O Lord, let the shame of my enemies be multiplied greatly.
O Lord, let the defeat and disgrace of enemy of my progress be multiplied beyond measure.
Let every power planning to turn my life upside down, fall down and die now, in the name of Jesus.
I paralyse every satanic inspiration targeted against me, in the name of Jesus.
I barricade my life from every satanic opinion, in the name of Jesus.
Let my divinely-appointed helpers begin to locate me from now, in the name of Jesus.
Every lame glory, receive life now, in the name of Jesus.
