PARALYZING THE STRONGMAN
Psalm 118
The strongman is the principal or controlling demon
over a family, place, person or thing. These are
prayers to completely neutralise the activities of such
agents
Be strong and be courageous like Joshua and Caleb who stood their ground against the giants of Canaan. Be equally resolute in desperate prayer to confront and paralyse the strongman in your life.
Ephesians 6:2: “For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.”
A strongman is the controller of a group of spirits or the chief over a group of spirits, what the Bible calls “rulers of darkness of this world” (Ephesians 6:12). He acts as the prison warden of the devil, confiscating the blessings of people. He is the wicked ruler over every nation, town and family. I am supposed to live under the dominion of the strongman. The power to overcome has been given to me because the greater one lives inside me (1 John 4:4). Every strongman in charge of my case has to bow to the Lordship of Jesus Christ in me. My faith in God will help me overcome because I am born of God. (1 John 5:4).
God has given us the weapons with which to fight. “The weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty through God to the pulling down of stronghold” (2 Corin.l0:4). We have the ability to overcome the strongman.
As you pray, the strongman attacking you will be permanently paralysed.
• CONFESSION
Ps. 149:1-9: Praise ye the LORD. Sing unto the LORD a new song, and his praise in the congregation of saints. Let Israel rejoice in him that made him: let the children of Zion be joyful in their King. Let them praise his name in the dance: let them sing praises unto him with the timbrel and harp. For the LORD taketh pleasure in his people: he will beautify the meek with salvation. Let the saints be joyful in glory: let them sing aloud upon their beds. Let the high praises of God be in their mouth, and a two-edged sword in their hand; To execute vengeance upon the heathen, and punishments upon the people; To bind their kings with chains, and their nobles with fetters of iron; To execute upon them the judgment written: this honour have all his saints. Praise ye the LORD.
PRAISE WORSHIP
I withdraw the control of my life from the hands and domination of household wickedness, in the name of Jesus.
I withdraw my future from the influence and control of household wickedness, in the name of Jesus.
I release myself from any unconscious satanic bondage, in the name of Jesus.
Let every demonic power controlling my town be
paralysed, in the name of Jesus.
Let the joy of the enemy over my life turn to sorrow, in the name of Jesus.
Let the organisation of the hosts of hell against me break down, in the name of Jesus.
Let all spiritual vultures wishing for my death, begin to receive the stones of fire now, in the name of Jesus.
I cut off any problem with a link to my parents, in Jesus’ name.
I break every placental bondage, in the name of Jesus.
Let every nature of failure in my life go and let the nature of success come to me, in the name of Jesus.
I disgrace the strongman delegated by satan over my life, in the name of Jesus.
Let the rejoicing of the wicked over my life vanish, in Jesus’ name.
I break myself free from the bondage of inherited spirit, in the name of Jesus.
Evil family tree in my life, be uprooted, in the mighty
name of our Lord Jesus.
Let every bondage of inherited sickness over my life break in my life, in the name of Jesus.
I recall every power that has ever done me wrong, in the name of Jesus, and I issue judgement on the camp of the enemy as written in Psalm 149.
Let all my oppressors fall by their own counsels, in Jesus’ name.
Let every chained spirit and blessings be released, in Jesus’ name.
Let every ordination of paralysis be canceled, in Jesus’ name.
Every problem attached to my name, be revoked, in Jesus’ name.
Lord, reveal unto me every secret about my life that I need to know.
Let every evil remote control and spiritual satellites set up against me receive the thunder fire of God and be burnt to ashes, in the name of Jesus.
I command every strange and wicked voice calling my name to be silenced, in the name of Jesus.
Lord, purge me from every spiritual and physical poison I have taken through food, in the name of Jesus.
Lord, let the blood of Jesus wash away every mark of witches, wizards and wicked men from my life, in the name of Jesus.
I stand against faith destroyers in my life, in the name of Jesus.
I stand against lack of knowledge in the affairs of my life, in the name of Jesus.
I stand against the spirit of envy and the spirit of strife in my life, in the name of Jesus.
I stand against the spirit that fails to work in love in my life, in the name of Jesus.
I call down God’s fire, thunder, lightning and tempest upon evil observers of the progress of my life, in the name of Jesus.
Let every organ in my body that is not functioning well receive divine touch and begin to function well, in the
name of Jesus.
Every problem attached to my name be nullified, in Jesus’ name.
Let the veil hiding my evil strongman be torn to pieces, in the name of Jesus.
My breakthroughs, manifest powerfully now, in the name of Jesus.
Let all blocked ways to success be opened, in the name of Jesus.
Let favour be upon my life from all directions from today, in the name of Jesus.
I break every unprogressive attachment to my place of birth, in the name of Jesus.
Let the anointing for supernatural breakthroughs come upon me, in the name of Jesus.
Lord, give unto me this day the keys to unlock all doors to my blessings, in the name of Jesus.
Let the power to discern unprofitable associations fall upon me now, in the name of Jesus.
