LOCATE YOUR LOCATION

Jeremiah 18:l-2: The word which came to Jeremiah from the Lord, saying, Arise, and go down to the patter’s house, and there I will cause thee to hear my words.

1 Kings 17:8-9: And the word of the Lord came unto him, saying, Arise, get thee to Zarephath, which belongeth to Zidon, and dwell there: behold, I hove commanded o widow woman there to sustain thee.

Luke 24:49: And, behold, I send the promise of my Father upon you: but tarry ye in the city of Jerusalem, until ye be endued with power from on high.

The mystery of location has a great significance before God and the devil. This is so because, when one is in the right location, there is bound to be 99% successful achievement. Also, those who are dislocated from their locations will be friends of failure. You need to pay a rapt attention to what the Holy Spirit will impress upon your hearts so that you will not be dislocated from your divine location.

Being in the right location affects all ramifications and spheres of life. It touches on the spiritual, physical, financial and material areas of our life. Nowadays, many believers seem to have been dislocated spiritually and this is affecting other areas. Some churches also have been dislocated from where God has placed them and this is having a great impact on the lives of people. It is until the issue of location is put into place before there can be a positive and lasting change.

THE FALL OF MAN

Has it ever occurred to you, that the fall of man can be traced to the issue of location? God placed and located Adam and Eve in the garden of Eden to dress and keep it. Also, God would come around to have fellowship with man in the garden of Eden. Unfortunately, a day came that man was no longer in his

location. God looked for man and asked him a searching question, “Where art thou?” Sin made man to fall from this located position. He was beguiled by the devil, that old serpent to taste the forbidden fruit. And instead of quickly admitting the wrong he had done and call upon the name of God in repentance, he began to give flimsy excuses to cover up for his mischievous act.

WHERE ART THOU?

If God were to come down and ask you where you are, what will be your answer? Will you also start giving excuses as Adam and Eve did? Are you (as a Christian) at your duty post of prayer? Are you still reaching out to lost souls? Have you tasted the forbidden fruit? You cannot deceive yourself even if you think you can deceive God. You know just as God knows; whether you are in the position where God wants you to be or not.

Some people who are supposed to have been at the university level, spiritually are still battling with the flesh. Many who are supposed to have been missionaries are running after money in order to become millionaires. It is your location that will determine your destiny. It is your attitude that will eventually determine your altitude.

CHANGED LOCATION

Do you know that God sometimes will want you to change your location before you can move to the next level? God told Jeremiah to leave the place where he was and go to the potter’s house. Jeremiah obeyed God without questioning and he had a thrilling revelation from God.

Jeremiah 18: 1-2: The word which came to Jeremiah from the Lord, saying,

1. Arise, and go down to the patter’s house, and there I will cause thee to hear my words.

From the account of Jeremiah, we discovered that God may not reveal something to us if there is no change of location. It is this change, that will cause a change for better living. We can, therefore, learn the following from the account of Jeremiah.

ATTENTIVENESS

Jeremiah was in a good relationship with God and that is what made him to be

attentive to the voice of God. In the same vein, believers of today need to pay a rapt attention to the voice of God. Understand the methods of divine communication and give diligence to listening to Him speak to you every day. God can speak to you through different means but you must subject everything to the word of God. Thus, pay attention to the voice of God.

OBEDIENCE

We need to obey God in all areas of our lives. Obedience brings blessing, success and revelation. Jeremiah obeyed God and he had a revelation. When you obey the instructions of God for your life, you will never regret doing so.

COMMUNION

God wants to commune with you. What you only need to do is to stay tuned and surrender everything to Him. It pains my heart, when I see believers not hearing from God. You are supposed to hear from God at all times. The God whom we serve is not dead and has not retired from speaking to His children. Have the right attitude to God and you will enjoy a ceaseless communion with Him just like Jeremiah did.

ELIJAH AS A CASE STUDY

The subject of change of location, can be seen in the life of Elijah. God gave him an express command to leave the brook of cherith to a seemingly strange place; a widow’s house. Going by human calculation, one would not have expected God to send this man of God to the widow. But, the foolishness of God is indeed greater than the wisdom of men.

When God gives a command, there is always a commensurate provision for carrying out such a command. If you don’t want to remain in lack, poverty and dryness, learn to always listen to God for new instructions and commandments.

There are some blessings that you have to be in a specific location at a specific time in order to get. God is meticulous and He works with time. If you miss out on divine timing, you may miss out on some promises, messages and spiritual experiences. Some miracles, also go with divine timing. When you are always in

the place where God wants you to be, you will bask in the euphoria and blessedness o God all through your life.

There was this woman, who was committed to the work and service of God for many years. She was always the first person to come to the church and clean the house of God.

She had been doing this for many years without riches, children or even having a husband. But one day came, when the devil deceived her. On that day, the devil began to whisper discouraging words to her, asking her why she continued to suffer inspite of her efforts in cleaning the church. The devil suggested to her that she should sit down at home and continue to weep her plight. The woman succumbed to the voice of the devil and refused to attend church services.

Meanwhile, the angel of God came to the church on that day with a special blessing for the woman. But alas, she was nowhere to be found. The angel waited endlessly for the woman and towards the end of the church service, a prophecy come up. The prophecy continuously asked for the woman and mode it clear that since the woman had refused to come, the words which came out from God would not return to Him void. That was how the angel gave the heavenly pock meant for her to another person.

I want you to pray this prayer point for about ten minutes. Any power that will relocate me from my place of blessing, what are you waiting for? Die, in the name of Jesus.

THE FATHER OF FAITH

Abraham, the father of faith, had an unalloyed faith and trust in God. There is the genesis of his favour and blessings with God. God told him to relocate from his father’s house to an unknown place. Abraham was to take a seemingly foolish step by undertaking a journey to an unknown land. He believed God implicitly and left a-place of certainty to a place of uncertainty. His absolute faith in God whom he had not seen earned him a great reward. Abraham was only blessed when he discovered his location

A man cannot possess his possessions, unless he obeys God’s instruction to depart from his father’s house into the land of promise. In the African setting,

where the powers of darkness work to perpetuate evil, you need to undertake a spiritual journey of faith, so that you can escape the torment and torture of the devil.

THE WRONG LOCATION

It is possible for one to be wrongly located. In fact, Elijah was in the wrong location. God had to question him twice. “What doest thou here?

1 Kings 19:9-13: And he come thither unto a cove, and lodged there; and, behold, the word of the Lord come to him, and he said unto him, What doest thou here, Elijah? And he said, I hove been very jealous for the Lord God of hosts: for the children of Israel hove forsaken thy covenant, thrown down thine altars, and slain thy prophets with the sword; and I, even I only, am left; and they seek my life, to take it away. And he said, Go forth, and stand upon the mount before the Lord. And, behold, the Lord passed by, and a great and strong wind rent the mountains, and brake in pieces the rocks before the Lord; but the Lord was not in the wind: and after the wind on earthquake; but the Lord was not in the earthquake: And after the earthquake a fire; but the Lord was not in the fire: and after the fire a still small voice. And it was so, when Elijah heard it. that he wrapped his face in his mantle, and went out, and stood in the entering in of the cave. And, behold, there came a voice unto him, and said, What doest thou here, Elijah?

Many are operating in the wrong location. This has robbed them of God’s blessings. For instance, if you are doing a business. That entails telling lies, you better run away from such a business venture. Such business will not only hinder God’s blessings, it will also drag you to hell.

If you are working in a place that helps to expand the works of the flesh, you need to leave such a job. Also, if your conscience is not at rest and the spirit of God is continually grudged in your place of work, you need to take a bold step and leave such an employment. Thus, you need to relocate to your land of promise.

If you are in a relationship and you discover that such a relationship is endangering your soul, better relocate before it is too late. For instance, whatever man or woman wants to marry you, and anytime you are in the presence of such a person, he or she is not interested in prayers or Bible study and what that

person is interested in is to kiss you or do any unwholesome thing, you need to change your location. God’s will for your life cannot be based on the platform of lust which could make you to sin. Keep yourself pure!

A man can never do the right thing in the wrong place. A man can never perform his duty in a place aside from his divine duty post. God told Elijah to leave the hiding place because it was not his duty post. A place could be like Jerusalem and may not be the divine location for a person. Failure to receive your portion in life could be because you have not moved to your God appointed location.

THE DESIGNATED PLACE

Miracles sometimes may not happen if we are not moved from the destitute place to the designated place. It is God’s designated place that can give you joy and a lasting peace. When one is not in God’s designated places, there is doubt, discouragement, and doom. We have a practical experience in the Bible, during the encounter of Jesus with the blind man.

Mark 8:22-25: And he cometh to Bethsaida; and they bring a blind man unto him, and besought him to touch him, And he took the blind man by the hand, and led him out of the town; and when he had spit on his eyes, and put his hands upon him, he asked him if he saw ought. And he looked up, and said, I see men as trees, walking. After that he put his hands again upon his eyes, and made him look up: and he was restored, and saw every man clearly,

You will discover from the account above, that Jesus led the blind man out the town before the healing was conducted. For you to have a lasting solution to your problems, you need to follow Jesus to wherever He leads you.

Let the Spirit of God guide you daily, in your Christian we You cannot stay outside your divine contact address a expect to receive your divine letters. This is so because, the blessings of God will only go to your divine contact address

THE THIRD LESSON

You will not get into trouble if you can always cultivate 1 habit of asking for God’s direction in whatever things you wont to do. Get daily instructions from God before you to any step. You should even gel a clear direction and leading

from God if) the choice of accommodation, the kind business or job you will do, the career you should go and the person you are to marry. God should take the place in your life because the choice of accommodation buying of land or building a house could be likened to the garden of Eden and suddenly being turned into Sodom a Gomorrah.

The person you want to many may not be the will of God for you. Always get a clear direction from God in every this you do. And if you are in a dilemma or doubt, meet 1 people (God’s minister) who can counsel you. A problem shared is half solved.

Lot and Jonah learn their lessons bul in a hard way. pointed to the location of Sodom and Gomorra h, because the land was well entered. He entered the land full but came out empty. He not only lost material possessions but he lost his wife who later became a pillar of salt.

Jonah refused to go to his location and this made God to be angry with him. He had to be thrown into the sea where he learnt a hard lesson and stayed without food in the belly of a fish for good three days and nights.

Jonah 1:17: Now the Lord had prepared a great fish to swallow up Jonah. And Jonah was in the belly of the fish three days and three nights.

SYMPTOMS OF A WRONG LOCATION

Distress

Hardening of bondages

Horrible dreams

Success of satanic attacks

Gradual fall to poverty

Unexplainable examination or interview failure

SATANIC RELOCATION

Satan sometimes relocates a person from his place of blessings and destiny, to a wrong one. Satan and his cohorts do this by means of “anti-divine location” strategies. Sometimes, what we call the power of darkness is really not the power of darkness. What the devil does is to use evil wisdom to displace a person from his divine contact address. Never allow the devil to relocate you from the divine location.

SATANIC DEVICES FOR RELOCATING A PERSON

Do you know that the devil has many devices for relocating a person? Ignorance of these devices will get you strategically relocated by the devil. The following are some of the “anti-divine location devices.”

PROVISION OF GOOD BUT WRONG ALTERNATIVES

The fact that something is a good idea, does not mean that it is God’s plan for you. The enemy will give a good, attractive and nice idea. But, when you take an in-depth look at such an idea, you will notice that it is dangerous and deceptive.

WRONG SUCCESS

It is possible for you to have wrong success that will get you nowhere. When a student excels by haying distinction in all subjects but fails the core subjects like mathematics and English, such a result is good for nothing. In the same vein, when someone excels in the financial or academic area and such a person is not born again, that success has a question mark. There are many geniuses that are failures in the sight of God. Hence, an all round success, is the one in which a person succeeds both spiritually and physically.

WRONG FRIENDS AND ASSOCIATION

The kind of friend you keep, can help you to locate your place of blessings and can also dislocate you from the pathway of blessings. Your friend can shape or shatter your destiny.

This is very rampant in the world today. Some people join the mad rush to foreign lands in search of greener pastures without receiving an instruction from God. They only get to the foreign land to experience the bitter tastes of poverty.

You can be blessed in the place you are. This reminds me of somebody who was doing quite well in a place. He later Joined the race for going oversea to work for money. He got out of his country and opted for any job that came his way. He was truly offered a job but in the mortuary. This man got to the place where he was to work and by the time he sighted the corpses of white people lying in the mortuary, he fainted. He was sacked.

IMPATIENCE

This means running faster than God. It is dangerous to be impatient. When you run ahead of God, you may miss out of His plans and purpose for your life. Wait patiently on God and answers will come your way.

SPIRITUAL BLINDNESS

Spiritual blindness will make you to go out of your location. Tell God to make you to be spiritually vigilant so that you will remain in the position that God wants you to be.

PRIDE

Pride will make you think of yourself more than thinking about God. It will make you to feel that you are always right while others are wrong. The Bible says; But he giveth more grace. Wherefore he saith, God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace unto the humble. James 4:6.

Pride would have destroyed Naaman who wanted to teach God where to be located. You need to be humble and stay at your duty post. This will give you the needed miracle.

FOUNDATIONAL BONDAGE

Bondage from the foundation can place a person in the realm of failure.

HOUSEHOLD WICKEDNESS

Evil power from your household can programme you into a wrong location.

LIVING IN SIN

When you live in sin, you will be dislocated sooner or later.

FEAR

Fear dislocates. A lot of people have gone to wrong places out of fear.

DREAM, VISION AND PROPHECY MANIPULATION

Some people see the devil inspired visions, dreams and revelations. They refuse to test the dreams, visions and revelations in the light of the word of God.

CARRYING SATANIC LUGGAGE

The principle involved in receiving unwanted satanic luggage is wrong location. While the principle involved in receiving showers of blessings is divine location. You may discover that instead of receiving the blessings of God, you are battling with bad luck. What you need to do is to cry out to God in prayers and be sure that God will set you free from satanic heavy burdens.

When you locate your location, our destiny will locate you. If you are supposed to get to a particular location and you are not there, that means that you are not yet in the divine location for your life. Being dislocated from your located location will hinder your angel of blessings to hand over God’s blessings for your life.

• My Father, if I have been diverted from my land of promises, relocate me by fire, in the name of Jesus.
