IDOL CHAINS

These are chains that are ancestral in nature. Our forefathers worshiped idols. Hence, the ancestral powers of their house have introduced idol chains. Idols demand worship and allegiance. Even when our forefathers have been dead and forgotten, generations of unborn children are victims of those chains. Once worshiped, idols will continue to demand allegiance. To get this done, they introduce chains into the lives of the victims. Even when those raised in idolatrous homes travel overseas, they retain such idols. Idols do not easily let go their victims. If you have ever been to fetish shrines or participated in any form of idol worship, you will go about with chains that have been put in place in the spirit world.

God hates idol with perfect hated hence He has commanded us to shun idol worship in any form.

Leviticus 19:4 says:

Turn ye not unto idols, nor make to yourselves molten gods: I am the LORD your God.

Leviticus 26:1:

Ye shall make you no idols nor graven image, neither rear you up a standing image, neither shall ye set up any image of stone in your land, to bow down unto

it: for I am the LORD your God.

Acts 15:20:

But that we write unto them, that they abstain from pollutions of idols, and from fornication, and from things strangled, and from blood.

Idol worship will always remain a snare. When you have fellowship with idols you are snared.

Psalm 106:35-39 says:

But were mingled among the heathen, and learned their works. And they served their idols: which were a snare unto them. Yea, they sacrificed their sons and their daughters unto devils, And shed innocent blood, even the blood of their sons and of their daughters, whom they sacrificed unto the idols of Canaan: and the land was polluted with blood. Thus were they defiled with their own works, and went a whoring with their own inventions.

Anyone who meddles with idol worship is preparing a platform for bondage. Chains that emanate from idolatry can be stubborn to break. Idol worship has very deep root, hence those who get caught in the web of the worship of strange gods generally grapple with stubborn chains.

Psalm 135:15-18 says:

The idols of the heathen are silver and gold, the work of men’s hands. They have mouths, but they speak not; eyes have they, but they see not; They have ears, but they hear not; neither is there any breath in their mouths. They that make them are like unto them: so is every one that trusteth in them.

Here we are told that idols are creations of man. They have all the physical features of men and animate objects. The Bible tells us that they have mouths

but they speak not, have eyes but see not, have ears but hear not, have legs but cannot walk. They are at best dumb and helpless. It is tragic when human beings descend so low to worship what they created with their own hands. The Bible tells us that those who worship them are like them.

Idol chains are acquired in two major ways.

1. Personal.

• Ancestral.

Majority of people from the continent of Africa have acquired idols chains, because our ancestors were neck-deep in idol worship. Unknown to us, they have passed a baton to today’s generation through hidden spiritual transfer. In view of this, if you undertake a thorough research into the lives of a particular family, you will discover that the chains run through the entire lineage. Modern victims may appear sound, educated and refined but they are struggling with the chains of idolatry such as the following:

1. Financial chains.

• Marital bondage.

• Health hazards.

• Failure.

• Set-backs.

• Flippant behaviours.

• Uncontrollable addiction.

• Recurrent tragedy.

• Failing from great heights.

1. Scapegoat syndrome.

1. Fear and anxiety.

1. Backsliding.

1. Weird dreams.

1. Nightmares.

1. Terrible accidents.

1. Loss of precious items.

1. Stagnation.

1. Working like an elephants and eating like an ant.

1. Sickness.

• Untimely death.

• Acute poverty.

Unknown to most people, the problem they are going through is an indication of the fact that idol chains are in place. You cannot be free until the power of the Holy Ghost breaks your chains. Idol chains have no respect for sentimental prayers. Reading prayers from an orthodox prayer book cannot move idol chains. It is interesting that most of the idol chains which we are contending with have been in place for hundreds of years. If demons could spend a hundred years fixing their wicked chains. Is it possible that you can break such chains with a five minute prayer session? I have stated time and again that the devil is not stupid. He does not manufacture weak chains. He is familiar with the strength of our prayers. Hence, he tries to secure the chains which can bind us.

To thoroughly break idol chains you need to follow a rigid prayer programme. These prayers may appear tasking but you have no option but to embark on them because your freedom is non-negotiable. No amount of cajoling or pleading with the enemy will make him budge. The only language the devil understands is the language of violence. Hence Matthew 11:2 says:

And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffereth violence, and the violent take it by force.

You need violence to obtain your freedom from the chains of idol worship.

Prayer Points

Section One

1. I release myself from every ancestral demonic pollution, in the name of Jesus.

• I release myself from every inherited demonic: pollution, in the name of Jesus.

• I release myself from every demonic pollution emanating from my past involvement in any demonic religion, in the name of Jesus.

• I break and loose myself from every idol and related associations, in the name of Jesus.

• I release myself from every dream pollution. in the name of Jesus.

• Satanic attacks against my life in my dreams, be converted to victory, in Jesus’ name.

• Let all rivers, trees, forests, evil companions, evil pursuers, pictures of dead relatives, snakes, spirit husbands, spirit wives and masquerades manipulated against me in the dream, be completely destroyed by the power in the blood of the Lord Jesus.

Section Two

1. I command every evil plantation in my life, come out with all your roots. in the name of Jesus! (Lay your hands on your stomach and keep repeating the emphasised area.)

• I withdraw my health from the hands of the bondwoman and her children, in Jesus’ name

• You will not squander my divine opportunities, in the name of Jesus.

• I dismantle any power working against myself, in the name of Jesus.

• I dismantle any power working against me, in the name of Jesus.

• I refuse to lock the door of blessings against myself, in the name of Jesus.

• I refuse to be a wandering star, in the name of Jesus.

8. I refuse to appear to disappear, in the name of Jesus.

Section Three

1. Let the riches of the gentiles be transferred to me, in the name of Jesus.

• Angels of God, pursue every enemy of my prosperity to destruction, in Jesus’ name.

• Let the sword of Goliath of poverty working against me die, in the name of Jesus.

• Let wealth change hands in my life, in the name of Jesus.

• Lord, make a hole in the roof for my prosperity, in the name of Jesus.

• Let the yoke of poverty upon my life be dashed to piece, in the name of Jesus.

• Let every satanic siren scaring away my helpers be silenced, in the name of Jesus.

Section Four

1. Let every masquerading power swallowing my prosperity be destroyed, in Jesus’ name.

• Let every coffin constructed against my prosperity swallow the owner, in Jesus’ name.

• Let the ways of the evil angels of poverty delegated against me be dark and slippery, in the name of Jesus

• Lord Jesus, hold my purse.

• Every demonic scarcity, be dissolved by fire, in Jesus’ name.

• Satan, I resist and rebuke your efforts to change my destiny, in the name of Jesus.

• Satan, I remove from you the right to rob me of my divine destiny, in the

name of Jesus.

Section Five

1. I command all powers of darkness assigned to my destiny to leave and never to return, in the name of Jesus.

• The desire of my enemy against my destiny will not be granted in the heavenlies, in the name of Jesus.

• The designs of my enemy against my destiny shall be destroyed, in the name of Jesus.

• The deposits of my enemies in the heavenlies against my destiny shall be destroyed, in the name of Jesus.

• The destiny of my enemy shall not be my lot, in Jesus’ name.

• Whether Satan likes it or not, I awake to my destiny by fire, in the name of Jesus.

• O Lord, give me new eyes to see into my destiny, in Jesus’ name.

Section Six

1. Conspiracy of darkness against my destiny, scatter by fire, in the name of Jesus.

• The fire of the enemy against my destiny shall backfire, in Jesus’ name.

• No weapon formed against my destiny shall prosper, in Jesus’ name.

• You evil strongman attached to my destiny, be bound, in Jesus’ name.

• Every programme of failure fashioned against my destiny, die, in the name of Jesus.

• Every foothold of the enemy on my destiny, be overthrown, in the name of Jesus.

• O Lord, arise and sit over my life and let my destiny change.

Section Seven

1. The mouth of the wicked shall not speak again against my destiny, in the name of Jesus.

• Every destiny destroyed by polygamy, be reversed, in the name of Jesus.

• Every witchcraft power working against my destiny, fall down and die, in the name of Jesus.

• Every incantation and ritual working against my destiny, be disgraced, in the name of Jesus.

• Every power of destiny quenchers projected against my destiny, fall down and die, in the name of Jesus.

• I reject every re-arrangement of my destiny by household wickedness, in the name of Jesus.

• Every quencher of my destiny, fall down and die, in the name of Jesus.
