BRINGING DOWN THE FIRE OF DELIVERANCE

Pray the following prayer points:

 1. Every power of my father’s house delegated to waste my destiny, die, in the name of Jesus.

2. Where is the God of Elijah? Arise and pursue my pursuers, in the name of Jesus. 3. Every power closing the gate of breakthrough against me, what are you waiting for? Die, in the name of Jesus.

In 1 Kings 18:38 we read: Then t he fire of the LORD fell, and consumed the burnt sacrifice, and the wood, and the stones, and the dust, and licked up th e water that was in the trench.

THE STRENGTH OF FIRE

There are many situations in our lives that need to be confronted with fire. When fire falls it causes destruction upon the enemy. It causes deliverance to take place. In 2 Kings 1:12, we read another interesting account:

And Elijah answered and said unto them, If I be a man of God, let fire come down from the oven, and consume thee and thy fifty. And the fire of God came down from heaven, and consumed hi m and his fifty. Elijah was about to be arrested but he arrested his arresters by the fire of God. He brought down fire and the fire brought deliverance. Luke 12:49-50 says: I am come to send fire on the earth; and what will I, if it be already kindled? But I have a baptism to be baptized with; and how am I straitened till it be accomplished! Jesus said that He came to bring fire down. Hebrews 12:29 reads:

For our God is a consuming fire.

WHAT DOES FIRE DO?

Fire burns. This is one characteristic of it that everybody knows. Fire is powerful in its movement. Once it begins to move, it is very difficult to stop. It has a penetrating power. When it descends on a thing, it wants to go right inside. It is a mystery in action; sometimes you don’t understand how it works. It is very aggressive, very militant. Immediately fire gets to a place, it wants to take over. It wants to subdue other things. It has focus. It knows what to address, it knows what to go and burn. It is hot and not cold. It does not compromise, it has no respect. If it is kindled in the forest, it will affect the mosquitoes and the elephants in the same manner.

Fire is very confrontational and symbolizes power.

We need the fire of deliverance to destroy every stubborn yoke. When a situation is stubbornly harassing a child of God, it is calling for the ministry and attack of fire. When fire comes down, woe betides every form of infirmity and sickness that are in your body. That is why one of the ancient Christian fathers said, “The sign of Christianity is not the cross but the tongue of fire.”

Why is deliverance by fire needed? You need the fire of deliverance when the enemy appears to be winning the battle against you. There was a man the enemy dealt with seriously. The day the letter confirming his multi-million dollar contract was brought to him was the day he committed suicide. As the letter was brought, they found people crying. The enemy will not defeat you, in Jesus’ name. Pray now like this: Every power that has defeated me before I was born again, fall down and die, in the name of Jesus.

Under what situation is deliverance by fire needed?

You need deliverance by fire when good things disappear without explanation. When you notice that your possession begins to diminish and things begin to go soar with you, then deliverance by fire is needed. Close your eyes again and pray like this:

Every injection of the enemy that is subtracting from me, backfire, in the name of Jesus. When is deliverance by fire needed? When the enemy starts broadcasting your name or evil. Let every satanic broadcasting station that is noising your name abroad dry up and die, in Jesus’ name.

When is deliverance by fire needed again? When the enemy puts a full- stop to one’s forward movement.

A brother was brought for prayer. This brother was not sick when he had no work to do, but immediately he engaged in something useful sickness set in and very soon he was hospitalized. The devil was trying to put full-stop to his forward movement. Pray this prayer: My portion, arise and be delivered from arresters, in the name of Jesus.

When is deliverance by fire needed?

When the enemy has become the traffic warden for your breakthrough. When is deliverance by fire needed?

When your enemy is converting your bucket to basket.

A brother came for prayer. The maximum time any money was in his hands was 24 hours. Any time money got into his hands, he would wastefully spend it through impulsive buying.

When he got to the market, he would spend all the money on him and would have no money to go home. A power had been delegated to him to puncture his prosperity, and the enemy was converting his bucket to a basket.

When is deliverance by fire needed?

When the enemy wants you to move from grace to grass. Beloved, there are many situations when the enemy will face you and eventually flee. The Bible says that when the enemy comes against us one way, he shall flee seven ways.

WHEN THE ENEMY FLEES

1. The enemy flees when your weapons are superior.

2. The enemy flees when your strength is superior.

3. The enemy flees when those who are with you (ire more than those who are with him.

4. The enemy flees when his best weapon has no (.1fect on you.

5. The enemy will flee if you capture his champion (Ind destroy the champion as David destroyed Goliath.

6. The enemy flees when you strike harder than him.

7. The enemy flees when he knows that you can disarm him.

8. The enemy flees when you call down the fire of God. If he does not flee, he will be burned to ashes.

HOW THEN CAN ONE BRING DOWN THE FIRE?

What are the vital things to do to bring down the fire of deliverance upon one’s life, the family, the church of God and the nation?

 These are seven ways or seven things to do?

1. You must do away with your sins and surrender your life to God without pretence. If there are some sins in your heart, it will be highly profitable to do away with them.

2. You must humble yourself before God. This is no child’s play.

3. You must exercise violent faith.

4. You must pray fervently.

5. You must practice aggressive praises.

 6. You must learn to wait on the Lord.

7. You must hunger and thirst for improvement in your life. Never be satisfied with your present situation.

Never be happy with where the enemy has put you. You must be determined to move forward. The enemy wanted to cage Elijah but he brought down fire and was set free.

As many people as call upon the fire of deliverance, the fire will descend in its intensity on their behalf to destroy every work rind purpose of the evil one.

PRAY THESE PRAYERS

1. Holy Ghost fire, fire of deliverance, deliver me by fire, in the name of Jesus. Every garment of bondage on my spiritual body, burn, in the name of Jesus.
2. Every branch of witchcraft in my family tree, die, in the name of Jesus.
3. Every evil covenant which my father’s house made with satan, die, in the name of Jesus.
4. Every misrepresented household wickedness working against me, die, in the name of Jesus.
5. star of my destiny, arise and shine, in the name of Jesus.
6. Every yoke of hardship working against me, be broken, in the name of Jesus.
7. Every serpent and scorpion swallowing my benefit, vomit it and die, in the name of Jesus.
