Acts 2

To get filled with fresh fire from heaven.

The reason many undergo deliverance almost everyday is lack of fire of the Holy Ghost in their lives. The moment you possess fire, it marks an end to the harassment of evil forces in your life and your life would constitute a danger to the powers of darkness.

Acts 2:3: “And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them.”

Fire is the symbol of the power and presence of God. It is the only thing that will convince the world of the awesome

power of God. The unbelieving world wants to see the demonstration of the power of God.

Paul said, “And my speech and my preaching was not in enticing words of man’s wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power; that your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men but in the power of God” (2 Cor. 2:4,5). This is a powerful statement. Paul had received the fire of God. He was immersed in fire.

To do the work of God effectively and to be His witness, we need to be immersed in fire. It is possible to be baptized with the Holy Spirit, speak in tongues and not have fire. It is possible to be baptized in water and not have fire.

As believers we have talked enough. We have held seminars and conferences that have not affected the world. What we need now is to get fresh fire and demonstrate the power of God to a dying world. The Church was born with fire on the day of Pentecost and it must live and grow with this fire!

As ministers of God, we must to pray to become flames of fire (Hebrews 1:7), so that we can give light to the world. We need to be consumed with the zeal to do God’s work. His words have to be like fire shut up in our bones. (Jeremiah 20:9) In this end times the only way the evil stronghold in many lives will be destroyed is by fire. The enemy has to be disgraced.

O Lord, send Your fire into our lives!

Matt. 3:11-12: I indeed baptize you with water unto

repentance: but he that cometh after me is mightier than I,
whose shoes I am not worthy to bear: he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost, and with fire: Whose fan is in his hand, and he will throughly purge his floor, and gather his wheat into the garner; but he will burn up the chaff with unquenchable fire.

PRAISE WORSHIP

Thank the Lord for the power of the Holy Spirit.

Confession of sins and repentance.

Father, let the Holy Spirit fill me afresh.

Father, let every unbroken area in my life be broken, in the name of Jesus.

Father, incubate me with fire of the Holy Spirit, in Jesus’ name.

Let every anti-power bondage break in my life, in Jesus’ name.

Let all strangers flee from my spirit and let the Holy Spirit take control, in the name of Jesus.

Lord, catapult my spiritual life to the mountain top.

Father, let heavens open and let the glory of God fall upon me, in the name of Jesus.

Father, let signs and wonders be my lot, in the name of Jesus.

I decree the joy of the oppressors upon my life to be turned into sorrow, in the name of Jesus.

Let all multiple strongmen operating against me be paralysed, in the name of Jesus.

Lord, open my eyes and ears to receive wondrous things from You.

Lord, grant me victory over temptation and satanic device.

Lord, ignite my spiritual life so that I will stop fishing in unprofitable waters.

Lord, release Your tongue of fire upon my life and burn away all spiritual filthiness present within me.

Father, make me to hunger and thirst for righteousness, in the name of Jesus.

Lord, help me to be ready to do your work without expecting any recognition from others.

Lord, give me victory over emphasizing the weaknesses and sins of other people while ignoring my own.

O Lord, give me depth and root in my faith.

O Lord, heal every area of backsliding in my spiritual life.

Lord, help me to be willing to serve others rather than wanting to exercise authority.

Lord, open my understanding concerning the Scriptures.

Lord, help me to live each day recognizing that the day will come when You will judge secret lives and

innermost thoughts.

Lord, let me be willing to be the clay in Your hands, ready to be molded as You desire.

Lord, wake me up from any form of spiritual sleep and help me to put on the armour of light.

Lord, give me victory over all carnality and help me to be in the centre of Your will.

I stand against anything in my life that will cause others to stumble, in the name of Jesus.

Lord, help me to put away childish things and put on maturity.

Lord, empower me to stand firm against all the schemes and techniques of the devil.

Lord, give me a big appetite for the pure milk and solid food in the word.

Lord, empower me to stay away from anything or anybody who might take God’s place in my heart.

O Lord, I thank You for the testimonies that will follow.
