Exhortation:

Beloved in the Lord, do not be disheartened by the trials and tribulations that come your way. Remember that our God is a God of hope and restoration. Even in the face of chronic disappointments, His promises remain true. He has said in His word, “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”1 (Jeremiah 29:11). Therefore, lift up your hearts, for the Lord is with you, and He will surely bring you through every challenge. In Jesus name Amen.

Confession:

Heavenly Father, we come before you today acknowledging our moments of doubt and despair in the face of repeated disappointments. We confess that at times, we have allowed these setbacks to weigh us down and steal our joy. We confess any unbelief and any negative words we have spoken over our lives and situations. Forgive us, Lord, for looking at our circumstances more than looking to your unfailing power and love. We declare that you are our hope and our deliverer. In Jesus name Amen.
