Exhortation

Beloved, today we stand at a crossroads. We are engaged in a spiritual warfare, a battle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places1 (Ephesians 6:12). One subtle yet persistent enemy we must confront is the spirit of the frog. Just as frogs thrive in stagnant, murky waters, this spirit seeks to breed stagnation, defilement, and demonic influence in our lives, families, and destinies. It croaks out discouragement, breeds uncleanness, and seeks to leap into and contaminate every area of our existence.

But take heart! We are not defenseless. We have been given divine weapons mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds (2 Corinthians 10:4). Through prayer, the Word of God, and the power of the Holy Spirit, we can overcome this insidious spirit. Let us rise up in faith, cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, and resist the devil, and he will flee from us (James 4:7). Today, we declare war on the spirit of the frog and command it to be bound and cast out of our lives forever, in Jesus name, Amen.

Confession

Heavenly Father, we come before you acknowledging our weaknesses and the times we have allowed the spirit of the frog to operate in our lives. We confess the times we have tolerated stagnation, embraced uncleanness in our thoughts and actions, and allowed demonic influences to take root. We confess any areas where we have been easily swayed by negative voices and have failed to stand firm in your truth. We repent for any compromise that has given the enemy an advantage. Forgive us, Lord, and cleanse us from all unrighteousness. By the power of the blood of Jesus, we break free from every hold of the spirit of the frog. We declare that we are washed, we are sanctified, we are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus and by the Spirit of our God (1 Corinthians 6:11),2 in Jesus name, Amen.

50 Fire Prayer Points Against The Spirit of Neglecting My Spouse’s Needs

Psalm 91: He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust. Surely he shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, and from the noisome pestilence. He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield and buckler. Let us lift our voices and our hearts in praise to the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords. Let us magnify His holy name for His power, His glory, and His unfailing love.
