Exhortation:

Hey there! Ever feel like you’re bending over backward trying to make everyone happy? It’s a trap, you know. God made you unique, with your own special purpose. Trying to please everyone else can actually pull you away from who He created you to be. Let’s focus on pleasing Him first, and watch how everything else falls into place. You’ve got this!

Confession:

Father God, we come before you today acknowledging the times we’ve prioritized the opinions of others over your truth. We confess the moments we’ve sought validation from people instead of from you. Forgive us for the fear of rejection that has driven us to compromise our values and dim our light. We turn away from the spirit of people-pleasing and choose to seek your approval above all else. In Jesus name, Amen.

  1. Father, I break every stronghold of the spirit of people-pleasing in my life. In Jesus name, Amen.
  2. Lord, I renounce every agreement I have made with the spirit of seeking human validation. In Jesus name, Amen.
  3. I bind and cast out every demon assigned to manipulate me through the fear of disapproval. In Jesus name, Amen.
  4. Father, let your perfect love cast out every fear of rejection in my heart. In Jesus name, Amen.
  5. I declare that my identity is rooted in Christ alone, not in the opinions of others. In Jesus name, Amen.
  6. Lord, grant me the courage to stand firm in your truth, regardless of what others may think. In Jesus name, Amen.
  7. I receive the boldness to say “no” when necessary, without feeling guilty or needing to over-explain. In Jesus name, Amen.
  8. Father, help me to prioritize your will above the desires and expectations of people. In Jesus name, Amen.
  9. I ask for discernment to know when to yield and when to stand my ground. In Jesus name, Amen.
  10. Lord, deliver me from the need to be liked or accepted by everyone. In Jesus name, Amen.
  11. I break free from the pressure to conform to the expectations of others. In Jesus name, Amen.
  12. Father, empower me to live authentically and genuinely, reflecting your glory. In Jesus name, Amen.

  14. Lord, fill me with your peace that surpasses all understanding, guarding my heart from the anxiety of seeking approval. In Jesus name, Amen.
  15. I declare that my worth comes from you alone, and it is not dependent on human acceptance. In Jesus name, Amen.
