Exhortation:

Friends, brothers and sisters in Christ, do you ever feel like you’re running behind? Not just physically, but in the very purpose God has for your life? The Bible tells us in Hebrews 12:1, “…let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us.” The spirit of being late isn’t just about missing appointments; it’s a spiritual hindrance, a tactic of the enemy to delay your destiny, to make you miss your divine timing, and to rob you of opportunities God has ordained for you. Today, let’s recognize this spirit for what it is – a thief of time and purpose – and let’s rise up in the power of the Holy Ghost to break free from its grip!

Confession:

Heavenly Father, we come before you acknowledging that we have, at times, allowed the spirit of lateness to operate in our lives. We confess that we have missed opportunities, caused delays, and felt the frustration that comes with being behind schedule. We recognize this is not your perfect will for us. Forgive us, Lord, for every instance where we have been influenced by this spirit. We renounce its hold over us and declare that we are children of promptness, diligence, and divine timing. In Jesus name, Amen.
