Exhortation:

Beloved, do not be discouraged by the challenges you face. The Lord your God is with you, a mighty warrior who saves. He will take great delight in you; in his love he will no longer rebuke you, but will rejoice1 over you with singing.2 Stand firm in your faith, for greater is He that is in you than he that is in the world. The spiritual battles we face are real, but our God is more real and more powerful. He has given us the authority to tread on serpents and scorpions and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt3 us. Therefore, lift up your heads, O you gates! And be lifted up, you everlasting doors! And the King of glory shall come in. Who is this King of glory? The Lord strong4 and mighty, the Lord mighty in battle.5 Trust in Him, for He will bring you victory.

Confession:

Heavenly Father, I come before you acknowledging that I am your child, redeemed by the precious blood of Jesus Christ. I confess that I believe in my heart and declare with my mouth that Jesus Christ is Lord. I confess that I am free from every bondage, every evil covenant, and every spiritual padlock that the enemy has placed upon my life. I declare that by the power of the Holy Spirit, these padlocks are broken, and their influence is nullified. I confess that I am walking in the liberty that Christ has purchased for me. I am blessed, I am prosperous, I am healthy, and I am a victor in Christ Jesus, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Bible Verse:

“The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim liberty to the captives and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty those who are oppressed,”6 – Luke 4:18 (ESV), in the name of Jesus. Amen.
