In the battle against spiritual contamination, it’s vital for every believer to guard their hearts and minds, for the enemy is always seeking ways to defile them. The devil often uses the world, its distractions, and sinful desires to pollute our spirit, causing us to stray away from God. But as Christians, we are called to be holy, set apart, and righteous in the eyes of God. We must intentionally cleanse our lives from every form of impurity, seeking the strength of the Holy Spirit to walk in holiness.

The Bible says in     2 Corinthians 7:1    :

“Therefore, since we have these promises, dear friends, let us purify ourselves from everything that contaminates body and spirit, perfecting holiness out of reverence for God.”

This verse emphasizes the importance of personal responsibility in ensuring that nothing in our lives corrupts the purity of our spirits. It’s a call to action, encouraging us to examine ourselves and remove anything that defiles our relationship with God. We must take this charge seriously and live as those who are washed, sanctified, and justified by Christ.
