Pride and self-righteousness are subtle forces that can hinder a believer’s growth and intimacy with God. The Bible warns us against being puffed up by our own achievements, status, or perceived righteousness. Pride leads to a fall, while humility brings God’s favor and grace. It is essential to remember that all we have is by God’s grace, and we must constantly examine our hearts, submitting ourselves to God and resisting the temptation to elevate ourselves above others.

In James 4:6, we are reminded,   “But He gives more grace.
