Overcoming the Deception of False Friends

False friends can be some of the most painful and challenging people to deal with. They come as wolves in sheep’s clothing, presenting themselves as companions, only to deceive, manipulate, and lead us astray. The Bible teaches us to be discerning and cautious when choosing our associations. We must remember that God, in His infinite wisdom, has shown us through His Word how to deal with false friendships. As believers, our loyalty should first be to God and His Word. Any relationship that does not reflect His principles should be carefully examined. Psalm 55:12-14 (NIV):
