Exhortation:

Beloved in the Lord, as the sun rises this morning in Lagos, bringing with it a new day filled with possibilities and challenges, let us be reminded of the unwavering power and love of our God. He is our refuge and strength, a very present help in times of trouble. Do not be discouraged by the battles you face, for the Lord is with you. He has equipped you with His Word, His Spirit, and the power of prayer to overcome every obstacle. Stand firm in your faith, knowing that greater is He that is in you than he that is in the world. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father which is in heaven.¹ Be bold, be courageous, and walk in the victory that Christ has already won for you. Confession:

Heavenly Father, we come before you today acknowledging that we have fallen short of your glory. We confess our sins, both known and unknown, our thoughts, words, and deeds that have not honored you. We confess any areas where we have allowed the enemy to gain a foothold in our lives through ignorance, disobedience, or compromise. We confess any participation, knowingly or unknowingly, in demonic covenants or agreements. We renounce every ungodly tie and declare our allegiance solely to you, Lord Jesus Christ. We ask for your forgiveness and cleansing, washing us anew with your precious blood. We believe that your grace is sufficient for us and that you are faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. In Jesus name Amen.
