Exhortation:

Beloved, do not be discouraged by the spirit of poverty that seeks to bind you through the chains of compulsive spending. The Lord our God has promised us abundance and has given us the power to break every negative covenant that stands against His will for our lives. Confession:

Heavenly Father, we come before you acknowledging that we have sometimes fallen prey to the spirit of compulsive spending, which has opened doors for the enemy to enforce covenants of poverty in our lives. We confess our weaknesses and ask for your forgiveness. We declare that we are no longer bound by these negative patterns. We confess that we are redeemed from the curse of poverty by the blood of Jesus. We declare that we are blessed, and we are a blessing. We have the mind of Christ, and we walk in financial wisdom.
