Exhortation: Beloved, the enemy is real and actively seeks to ensnare and destroy. Be alert and watchful. Do not be ignorant of his devices. Stand firm in your faith, knowing that God’s grace is sufficient for you. He will perfect, establish, strengthen, and settle you after you have endured. Therefore, resist the devil and his evil monitoring with the power of God’s Word and prayer.

Bible Confession:

“The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? the Lord is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid? When the wicked, even mine enemies and my foes, came upon me to eat up my flesh, they stumbled and fell.3 Though an host should encamp against me, my heart shall not fear: though war should rise against me, in this will I be confident. Though evil monitors and their hosts come against me, they shall stumble and fall. The Lord hides me in His pavilion; in the secret of His tabernacle, He conceals me. He sets me upon a rock; therefore, I am secure in Him.
