Biblical Exhortation:

Take heart! In 2 Corinthians 4:16-18, it says, “Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by¹ day. For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.”² Don’t let the arrows of loss weigh you down. Focus on the eternal, on God’s unfailing promises. He’s got you!

Confession:

Heavenly Father, I confess that at times, the losses I’ve experienced have caused me to feel discouraged and weak. I acknowledge that I have sometimes focused more on what I’ve lost than on Your abundant provision and unchanging nature. Forgive me for any doubt or unbelief. I declare that You are my Shepherd, and I shall not want. You restore my soul and lead me in paths of righteousness for Your name’s sake. I confess that I am more than a conqueror through Christ who loves me. In Jesus name, Amen.

Please read Psalm 91: “Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty.
