Biblical Exhortation:

This powerful verse reminds us that the freedom Christ offers is absolute. No ancestral stronghold can ultimately hold us captive when we stand in His truth.

Let’s declare this with conviction. The Lord is our defense, our refuge against every attack, including those rooted in our lineage.

50 MFM Prayer Points Against Demonic Oppression in My Sleep 

Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us, for it is written: “Cursed is everyone who is hung on a pole.” He redeemed us in order that the blessing given to Abraham might come to the Gentiles through Christ Jesus, so that by faith we might receive the promise of the Spirit.2

This passage is foundational. Through Christ’s sacrifice, we are redeemed from every curse, including those that might have followed ancestral lines. The blessing of Abraham is now ours!

Praise and Worship:

Take a moment to focus on the victory we have in Jesus. Think about His power over darkness, His triumph over every evil. Perhaps you can recall specific instances where you’ve felt His deliverance. Let your praise rise from a place of knowing that He is greater than any stronghold. Sing a song of victory or simply speak words of adoration for His liberating power.

Prayer:

Heavenly Father, we thank You for the freedom we have in Christ Jesus. We confess that You are our light, our salvation, and our stronghold. We stand on Your Word that declares us redeemed from every curse. We lift our voices in praise for Your mighty power to break every chain. We now come against every ancestral stronghold seeking to hinder our lives. In the name of Jesus, Amen.

  1. Every ancestral spirit holding my destiny captive, release me now and die, in the name of Jesus, Amen.
  2. I break every evil covenant and agreement made by my ancestors that is affecting my life today, in the name of Jesus, Amen.
  3. Let the blood of Jesus cleanse me from every inherited defilement, in the name of Jesus, Amen.
  4. Every territorial spirit enforcing ancestral curses upon my life, your power is broken, in the name of Jesus, Amen.
  5. I command every generational curse operating in my lineage to be nullified by the power of the Holy Ghost, in the name of Jesus, Amen.
  6. O Lord, send Your fire to consume every altar erected by my ancestors that is speaking against my progress, in the name of Jesus, Amen.
  7. I sever every spiritual umbilical cord linking me to negative ancestral patterns, in the name of Jesus, Amen.
  8. Let the power of resurrection destroy every dead work of darkness inherited from my lineage, in the name of Jesus, Amen.
  9. Every stronghold of witchcraft and occultism passed down through my family, be shattered now, in the name of Jesus, Amen.
  10. I decree that the blessings of Abraham are my portion, and no ancestral curse can stop them, in the name of Jesus, Amen.
  11. Every spirit of poverty and lack inherited from my ancestors, I bind you and cast you out, in the name of Jesus, Amen.
  12. O Lord, let Your divine axe fall upon every evil tree planted by my ancestors that is bearing bitter fruit in my life, in the name of Jesus, Amen.
