Bible Exhortation:

Beloved, I want to encourage you today with the words found in Philippians 4:6-7: “Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition,1 with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ2 Jesus.” Take heart, for God is near, and He cares for you deeply. Cast all your cares upon Him, for He is able to sustain you.

Bible Confession:

I declare today, according to Psalm 34:18, “The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.” I confess that God’s presence is with me, even in moments of sadness or despair. I am not alone, for He is my ever-present help in trouble. I confess that the joy of the Lord is my strength (Nehemiah 8:10), and I choose to focus on His unfailing love and promises.

  1. Father, in the name of Jesus, I bind and rebuke the spirit of heaviness operating in my life. In the name of Jesus, Amen.
  2. Lord, I command every root of discouragement to be uprooted and destroyed in Jesus’ name. In the name of Jesus, Amen.
  3. I break every covenant and agreement I have consciously or unconsciously made with the spirit of heaviness, in the name of Jesus. Amen.
