Beloved, do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ1 Jesus. (Philippians 4:6-7) Let this truth sink deep into your heart today. No matter the storms you face, remember that God’s peace is not just the absence of trouble, but a deep-seated calmness and assurance that He is in control. Choose to bring every worry, every fear, every concern to Him in prayer, knowing that He hears you and will grant you a peace that the world cannot offer.

Confession:

Heavenly Father, I confess that at times I allow worry and anxiety to creep into my heart and mind. I confess that I don’t always readily bring my burdens to you as I should. Forgive me, Lord. Today, I choose to release every fear, every doubt, every concern into your loving hands. I declare that I will trust in your unfailing love and your perfect peace. I confess that your peace, which surpasses all understanding, is now guarding my heart and my mind in Christ Jesus. Thank you, Father, for your peace that reigns in my life.
